The grand\u00a0Kawagoe Festival<\/a>, held every October, features magnificent parade floats and is designated as an Important Intangible Folk Cultural Property of Japan.<\/p>\n

Another must-see spot is the\u00a0Former Yamazaki Residence<\/a>, built by the renowned Meiji-era confectioner Yamazaki family. The residence is known for its blend of Japanese and Western architecture, seasonal gardens, and a stunning stained-glass window adorned with a phoenix. Both the house and garden are nationally designated cultural properties.<\/p>\n
